About Spring Hill Farm
Established in 2017 we are a small, diverse farm on about 50 acres in west Tennessee and are primarily breeders of purebred Murray Grey beef cattle and Nubian dairy goats. While we’ve raised Idaho Pasture Pigs in the past, there are currently no hogs on the farm. Along with raising cattle and goats, we have a flock of chickens that provide us with fresh eggs. We also have berry bushes and brambles, an orchard and a small garden that provide us with seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables.
Our Philosophy
At Spring Hill Farm we believe in regenerative farming practices that nourish and heal the land supporting us, our livestock and wildlife as well. While we’re not a certified organic farm, our practices largely meet and exceed those standards, having never used synthetic fertilizers or toxic chemicals. Instead, we use our own animals, along with strategic management and natural inputs to improve the soil and the forage we grow. With a strong foundation in animal welfare, we ensure all our animals have room to graze, browse, scratch, run and play, along with healthy food, good clean water and shady trees for shelter and relief from the sun.
